Velvet Crush

Much to my delight velvet is baaaack! 

I can't help but LOVE it.  Not only does it look great, it always feels so goddamn good!! There is so much about at the moment that is velvety smooth and I am so happy, however slightly concerned for my bank balance.  Here are a few bits that I am loving...(please note I was feeling rather Christmassy at the time!)

1. Crushed Velvet Leggings. I prefer the black ones to all the other colours that are being sold purely for the fact that I think it would be much easier to create an outfit with. 

2.  Animal Velvet Corset. Leopard print + velvet = match made in heaven! I think these two things combined create a bit of a statement piece.

3.  Ciate Velvet Manicure.  I have heard lots of good things about Ciate products and would love to give this a go, especially in this Berry Poncho colour.

4.  Velvet Cat Eye Sunglasses.  Velvet & Sunglasses in one sentence is good enough, let alone when you add cat eye in there! Amazing, and I so want them.  Hello Christmas money from Grandfather!

5.  Velvet Faux Fur Earmuffs. Such a lovely way to keep your ears warm in the colder months! They are £3.90...you heard me right! Barg!

6.  Velvet Flocked Bra and Knickers.  I love this so much, and am so upset because they do not do big booby sizes :( I might just buy the pants so at least I have something! 

7.  Rocket Dog Red Bow Backpack.  This bag is soooo cute! Being Rocket Dog I was expecting some hideous price, but actually to my surprise it was originally only £37.99, but has now been reduced to £17.00! They did do a tartan one, and I am gutted to announce it is out of stock! Wahhhhhh! 

All I can say is I hope Father Christmas will be bringing me lots of money this year, because I want to walk around in all things velvet and look like a 90's throwback!

Christmas Pardy

So for our works Christmas party we went to a hotel in south Croydon for a meal and little disco-y kind of thing after. Everything was paid for including the room and the breakfast buffet the next day...helllll yeahhh!  We just chilled out and had a chat whilst eating our tasty meal and listening to cheesy classics from the dreadlocked DJ! It was the year for the partners to join us which was really nice because it gave Elliot the chance to meet everyone in the office.

Being completely useless as normal I just didn't get any photos at all apart from the first one of my outfit in the room before we left.  I need to start remembering that I now have a blog and need to start getting photo evidence of things!

I bought this dress in the summer for £7! WTF bargain I know...

You're a wizard Harry...

 I went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour a couple of weeks ago now and ljkblocigdpavigbdpavbdkvb was it GOOD!  
I have been waiting for over a week to get the pictures off of Elliot to put them up on here, it excites me writing this as I think back to it. I am really pleased that I am in the generation that really got into Harry Potter, and pretty much grew up with Harry himself if you get what I mean.  It was such a good experience, and if anyone hasn't been I would definitely recommend it! 

Unfortunately for me when we visited, I wasn't the richest of person and so could only limit myself to goodies.  But I have a few pictures to share with you...

Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree

Right so in my house we luuuurve Christmas! 

So last night was the night of  putting up the tree and decorations with some festive tunes and mulled wine, and boy did I enjoy it!  I'll be honest I'm not a lover of horrid OTT and like it how I like it so I'm pleased that Mum, Abi and I are left to decide what comes down from the loft and goes on show! :D
